What PrezziePal is

PrezziePal is a wishlist app made up of a Chrome browser extension and this website. Both connect to the same account, so items you save from the extension show up on the website and vice versa.

What we collect

  • Account info: the email address and password you sign up with. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and are never stored or seen by us in plain text.
  • Wishlist data: the lists and items you save — titles, prices, currencies, images, product URLs, and website names. When added via the extension, this is scraped automatically from the product page you were viewing; when added via the website, you type or paste it in yourself.
  • Sharing/claim data: if you share a list, visitors to that link can mark items as bought. A visitor may optionally give a name, which is shown to other visitors of that link (never to the list owner — see below). Anonymous visitors are identified only by a random ID generated in their own browser, not by any personal information.
  • Device settings: extension preferences (like auto-detect on/off) are stored locally in your browser only and are never sent to us.

How the "hidden from owner" guarantee works

If you share a list, you (the owner) will never see which items have been marked as bought — this is enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the interface, so that it holds even if you inspect the app's network traffic directly.

Where data is stored

All account and wishlist data is stored with Supabase, our hosted database provider. We don't sell your data, run ads, or use third-party analytics/tracking scripts.

Your choices

You can delete individual items, whole lists, or your entire account's data at any time from the extension's settings page or the website. Turning off sharing on a list immediately stops new visitors from viewing it.
